Oceanics Coastal and Heritage Walking Tours offer through our Marine Educational Facility Coastal & Heritage Walking Tours; - Guided Eco Beach Hikes, Rockpool Tours and Historical Walks of Tramore Town. All day Eco and Environmental packages are available for groups and are linked with primary and secondary school curriculum.

All types of walkers are catered for and each walk is lead by a local guide. There are three walking routes and all routes boast special features that set them apart from each other.

The 'Bay of Shipwrecks' walk which takes approximately 45 minutes (all ages) and departs outside the Sands Hotel every Sunday and Thursday at 2pm.

The 'Dunes and Wild Bird Life Walk' takes approximately two and a half hours and departs the Red Cottage every Sunday and Thursday at 3pm, it is suitable for years 8 and up.

The 'Historical Tramore on the Hill' walk departs the Red Cottage every Tuesday at 5pm and is suitable for all ages.

Direction : Travel ten kilometres until you come to a large roundabout on the outskirts of the town of Tramore. Then take the first left turn off the roundabout, towards "The Strand". Follow the road past Fitzmaurices Caravan Park, Seafield Holiday Homes, Crobally House on the left and Tramore Holiday Villas and Pebble Beach Holiday Homes on the right. Continue towards the strand. Oceanics Surf School is located in the Red Cottage on the right hand side of this road, opposite the entrance gates to the Atlantic View Caravan Park, just twenty metres from the beach.
