This walk commences at Dalkey Dart station. The best way to arrive at the start of this walk is by the DART, the local suburban rail network. It is, of course, also possible to arrive by public bus number 8 or by car and if you do the latter, join the walk from outside the railway station.
This walk will take you along a very scenic part of Dublin's coastline which will offer breathtaking views as well as enjoyable walks past historoc sites and quaint little harbours before finishing at one of literary historys most famous landmarks, the James Joyce Tower at Sandycove near the large Victorian pPort of Dun Laoghaire.
